Goldy Craigs, né un 8 Janvier 1992 en Martinique, est un métisse d'origine martiniquaise. Il est l'ainé d'une famille de deux enfants. Il commence à chanter dès l'âge de 4 ans, dans le studio de son père debout sur un tabouret, n'étant pas assé grand pour atteindre le microphone. C'est à ce même moment que sa passion pour la musique se révèle.

Au début, c'était plus un délire qu'autre chose, sa a commencé d'un "coup de tête" dirait-il ! Avec le magnétophone 60 sec de l'ordinateur pour enregistrer ses premiers essais.

Au fur et à mesure de sa progression, notre jeune artiste développera un style qui se démarque des autres artistes du genre, par son flow reconnaissable, son style ainsi que ses textes uniques en leurs genres. Il fit circuler sur Internet un grand nombre de "Web Single" . Plus qu'un moyen de se faire connaître, cela représente pour lui un véritable moyen d'expression. Il décide donc de persévérer !

Ses influences sont larges Charles Aznavour, Francis Cabrel, Pipo Gertrude, Serge Ponsar, Chris Brown. Mais c'est avec son équipe et surtout son co-auteur/compositeur, Jim Mansfield qu'il trouve le son qui lui convient, qui lui est propre.

A la fin de l'année 2009, grâce au soutien de Jim Mansfield (réalisateur/co-auteur/compositeur intégral de l'album), Goldy Craigs débute l'écriture de son premier album solo qui lui tient vraiment à coeur étant pour lui son premier "grand pas" dans la musique. Il a pour cet album la chance d'obtenir le soutient des meilleurs compositeurs et artistes de musique antillaise.
